Costanza is the Project Director of the research project "How to identify and counter coordinated disinformation operations in Italy - Case studies and policy indications for public and private institutions," a collaboration between the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review, Luiss University, the University of Michigan, and the Istituto di Geopolitica Digitale. Now at its second cycle, it received two grants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The project is organized into three parts: a theoretical study of information operations and disinformation, the analysis of disinformation groups active in Italy through empirical research (digital ethnography), and the comparative study of policies and regulations on information integrity in multiple countries.
A short version of the 2020-2021 research is available here (in Italian). The complete research and a translation will be available soon.
